Bob's Magazine & Tobacco Shoppe
in the Internet Age
by Will Badger
No one needs ID on the net.
Or courage, like back then
when a kid had to slouch his shoulders
and think old thoughts, and slink
through the smoked glass doors
into the section marked
STOP!
Adults Only
where sweaty, shuffling, doe-eyed Men
pawed the glossy nubilities
and looked beneath their lids at one another
praying, "Dear God, don't let me end like him."
